0:00.0 | Hey guys. Welcome to the inaugural episode of Not Another Anxiety Show. |
0:16.3 | I'm your host, Kelly Walker, and the point of this first short and sweet episode here is to introduce |
0:21.5 | you to the show and let you know a little bit more about what you can expect from it. |
0:26.6 | Some of you out there already may know me from my days as co-host of the Anxiety Coach's podcast. |
0:32.3 | If that's the case, it's great to be in your ear again, but for those of you that are hearing my |
0:36.3 | voice for the first time, let me take a minute to introduce myself. I'm Kelly. I have a master's degree in nursing |
0:42.0 | and work experience in the mental health setting. I'm also a certified health and wellness coach |

1:31.3 | So obviously this was a pretty dark time, and my husband actually lovingly refers to it as my quote-unquote hiatus or sabbatical from life. |
1:41.3 | Thankfully, my life looks quite a bit different now, a little messy at times, |
1:46.0 | which is part for the course of being human, but for the most part, it's really limitless and |
1:50.9 | fulfilling. I didn't achieve freedom from anxiety because I'm someone special. I would never |
1:56.8 | claim to be enlightened, whatever that means, I would never claim to be some guru |
2:00.8 | or claim to hold the magical cure or bullet to overcoming anxiety. |
2:06.2 | But what this does mean that, if someone as wonderfully averages myself can move past anxiety, |
