And another great day, another great week, in fact, in this greatest nation on God's Green

Earth, and it is a great turning point for our country because what had looked like it was going

to be one of the most depressing election campaigns in history with two very grumpy and flawed old men running against each other

now looks like it's going to be a meaningful election about real issues, about differences in

behavior and differences in values, differences in agendas, rather than simply picking at whether

the incapacity of Joe Biden was worse than the immorality of Donald J. Trump. And immorality may be too strong a word,

but you can pick whatever word you want

for the fact that the majority of people in this country

do not approve, do not have a positive impression

of either President Trump or President Biden.

And now all of a sudden there seems to be a new excitement, at least on one side of the political ledger. The number yesterday, they announced that within hours of President Biden announcing that he will not be a candidate, that he will not run,

and giving his endorsement to Kamala Harris. Within hours, the Democrats had raised $50 million

based largely upon small donations ordinary people who all of a sudden are

saying wait a minute there's something I care about and who sent money to support Kamala

Harris for president that by the way is now up to a hundred and fifty million

dollars that's in just 24 hours.

$150 million, and that goes along with the about $200 million, or it may be more that was already

raised for the Biden campaign that Harris may be able to use.

All of this is amazing. It's 100 days approximately until the election.
