And another great day, another great week, in fact, in this greatest nation on God's Green Earth, our first full week with the would-be president of the United States, former president of the United States, Donald J. Trump, officially recognized and acknowledging the status of convicted felon. By the way, people have made all kinds of puns and

remarks about the fact that, well, we always knew that President Trump had deep convictions.

Now, 34 of them. There are a lot of people, including a lot of people on the right,

who believe that this has actually made the election a sealed deal for President Trump.

That he is going to be helped enormously by the fact that he was convicted for false records keeping for distorting

the election of 2016 in effect by using money and using it illegally is the claim

to silence somebody with whom he had a fairly brief but scandalous

relationship.

Is this something that we're going to be talking about not only having done so for seven weeks during the trial, but now we're going to be talking about, not only having done so for seven weeks during the trial,

but now we're going to be talking about it for the rest of the campaign up through the debate.

Can you imagine what kind of debate questions is Jake Tapper going to ask on that first CNN debate, which is coming up now in, oh, it's a little bit more than three weeks.

It's not even a month from now.

And it's very soon.

President Trump has responded.

He gave a 33-minute address.

It was described, I think, accurately as rambling. And basically,

he believes this is one of the great crimes, not the crime that he is alleged to have committed,

but the crime of his prosecution, that that is one of the great crimes in all of American history and the American

people not only should follow and support and send in their money, which they've been doing
