And another great day in this greatest nation on God's Green Earth.

A great nation, despite the fact that we don't have the greatest electoral system in the world.

Partially I'm thinking about that because they just announced an election in Great Britain.

And that election is going to be taking place on July 4th, our great national holiday of independence from Great Britain.

But is it really necessary that we continue this election process for so many months.

Isn't that something worth thinking about, being able to have a prime minister or a president or the Speaker of the House or some way that you can have an election coming up and dealing with it.

Well, perhaps.

We will be talking about that and the big announcement by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

There was also another announcement by leaders of other European countries.

Spain, Norway, and Ireland announced that they will recognize

a Palestinian state on May 28th.

The amazing, today Ireland, Norway, and Spain are announcing that we recognize the state

of Palestine.

Each of us will now undertake whatever national steps are necessary to give effect to that decision.

So said Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris to a press conference in Dublin.

The recognition will come into force in all three countries on May 28th, Irish Foreign

Minister Mikhail Martin said.

Norway's Prime Minister, Jonas Garstur, said the war in Gaza has made it clear that achieving

peace and stability must be predicated on resolving the Palestinian question.
