So when you got back from the six and a half years, you managed to make a career,

lifelong career out of sailing, consulting, lecturing.

Tell us a little bit about that.

I want to go into what it is you do currently, but lead us into it with what you did. I know

you were at West Marine for quite a while, and you were pretty much known as the go-to person for outfitting a sailboat for cruising, right? Right. Well, what happened when we came home, Andy, went right back into the rigging business. I mean, he had people lined up waiting for him to come home so he had his own riggingging company, which, of course, a rigged does everything from the deck

up, you know, with the mast and all the wires and everything.

So he went right back into his old business.

And there was a company that we had heard of as we were sailing across the Pacific.

It was unknown to us east of the Mississippi. It was called

West Marine, and everybody out in the Pacific had a big West Marine catalog, you know, and, gee,
