Like I was saying how I don't know where I got this in my head that ursus the old name for grizzlies was ursus heroeblis, like horrible bear.

But this guy called in and clarified that in fact it's that's like an example of trienomial nomenclature where it's ursus arctose heroeblis.

Ursus arctose heroeblis was an is a name for interior brown bears.

I thought that they dropped the heroeblis because it was like bad PR for the bears but he says that is not correct.

He says that's perfectly valid valid but I should have pointed out that it that is ursus arctose arctose is the erasian grizzly not found in North America.

And he had a third gripe where he said that and this is what I kind of disagree with him about.

I was talking about binomial nomenclature which is like the lenaean system where you have for instance ursus arctose which be like northern bear.

He was saying that the second word in that so if you like homo sapiens.

I used the second word like it was like genus and species but he said the second part of the epithet.

So in homo sapiens the second part of the epithet is just called that's just the species.
