With over 15 years and more than 2000 hours of experience in piloting ultralight aircraft, Tracy Tomlinson knows about ultralight flying. He started flying hang gliders in 1995 and has launched from pretty high peaks including the 14,000 foot Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Aspen Mountain, Jackson Hole in Wyoming and even from the summit of the Haleakalā volcano in Maui.

even on the short 30-minute flight, I've got some just spectacular places that we fly with,

you know, 6 to 800-foot bluffs all the way around a bowl-shaped basin. It's called the Bejew

Basin, kind of just north of the area that we fly. The hour flights, we can get either, you know,

up north of Colorado Springs, around the Castle Rock area, around Greenham, Parksburg,

where all the bluffs and the Buttes are, there's a lot of wildlife up there.

And also on the right day, the hour flight, I could get up over Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs
