One of the things that we talked about a lot and John Carpenter 1 and John Carpenter 2 is how we

felt that he operated best as an independent filmmaker where he was in complete control.

be creative in the moment. And when he started getting some studio clout, the movies started

movie. This was his first big studio movie. And I think this is his best movie and going back and watching it and so I

think that you know it's interesting and something that we can talk about is when he

started making some missteps as a filmmaker because clearly this is a well

crafted well orchestrated well shot I mean around the board is such a tight, beautiful, beautifully filmed movie.

But this is also the movie where he got a decent budget.
