You never use my middle name.

It's Ty Cecil Frank. And all of my middle name. It's Ty, Cecil, Frank.

And all of the years that I've known you, I didn't know your middle name was Cecil.

I just made up that it is.

Oh. Oh. Okay.

Today's a very special Ty and that guy because Ty and I are going to be discussing and talking about one of our favorite directors of all time was his name, Ty.

Yeah.

So let's do some background before we drop the name.

So last time we recorded one of these, we were, you know,

it was obviously for us for an episode of the show. And we started talking about all this stuff that

we do in the show that reminds us of things from our favorite directors. And the name that comes

up over and over and over again when we have this conversation is John Carpenter. The classic

70s and 80s action and horror director went through multiple phases of his career. So many

movies that have greatly influenced both Wes as a performer and me as a writer. So we were like, maybe we should just do it, rather than talking about John Carpenter

all the time when we're doing our regular episodes, maybe we should just have a John

Carpenter episode, get it out of our system.

And then we realized we'll probably wind up doing two or three John Carpenter episodes because

he did so much work and we can't do it all at once.
