I'm getting really excited here. Turkey season's coming up here in Pennsylvania and has

opened in a lot of other states across the board. So this podcast, this week will be pretty timely

with talking about hunting mountain gobblers. So big woods, steep terrain, unbroken timber, turkeys.

So really excited to have Jake here on the podcast.

to talk about some tactics and more or less just the overall atmosphere of, you know,

hunting these type of areas. And it can be some really good, you know, training stuff for going

out west or even deer scouting, everything else. It's, it's cool to be able to do that,

you know, through turkey hunting. And not to mention mention turkeys are just extremely fun to hunt.

The eastern birds are really difficult, which I know in a lot of, in some places,

different subspecies, they are a little bit easier to call in.

But here they're really, really tough, tough birds to hunt.

And, and, but it is just, it's a ton of fun from that aspect so that's what's uh you know been on my mind here a lot uh recently and in addition to

that been still out scouting for you know know, well, turkeys and then also

white tails and hoping to come across first elk shed antler, which I've talked about a little

bit, but the amount of people that are out is crazy, but now that things are, you know,

fishing seasons opened up here, some other things that people are starting

to dwindle off and there's still bowls holding on in some areas of a small six by six the other day
