I met these two guys in the backcountry of Colorado in 2017 and have stayed in touch since. They cut their teeth hunting bears in Washington and have ventured to other places since then. 0:35.2	And finally came across an elk shed. shed so went out with my buddy Michael

0:50.3	out he was going to go out white tail shed hunting I was looking at going to look for some elk's some elk's some elk sheds and and he's like oh you know maybe you know go with you
0:58.9	he goes there's this area on on a map i've always wanted to check out do you want to go you know go take
1:04.8	a look at it and i said yeah let's do it and so basically you know kind of throwing a dart at the
1:10.5	map there.
1:12.2	And we met up in the morning, 7 o'clock in the morning.
1:15.7	He had a two and a half hour drive there and got to the bottom
1:20.9	and where we were going to park at and realize that the hike right to the top
1:26.1	was 1,200 vertical feet of straight up a little over a mile to do that and it was it was a pretty grueling climb to to warm up your legs if you will in the morning but we got all the way up to the top and there was zero sign of humans anywhere which is unreal for the amount of people
1:46.3	that are out outshed hunting right now and and within i don't know 20 minutes of being on top maybe
1:53.5	less we just had split up and michael yells that he found one and so he found a fresh drop off
