Today's episode, I have a good friend of mine and a big public land bow hunter, Johnny

Stewart.

And Johnny and I met a few years back.

And this guy impressed me from the first time i met him from his just kind of not even

saying how the deer on his wall which are extremely impressive but more or less his off-the-wall

thinking and tactics that when it comes to hunting white tails it's nothing that you read about in any

magazine or or anything along those lines he just knows how to read the woods and learn deer

in whatever particular area he's hunting and comes through and kills these deer so i i would say mean, this podcast is probably the longest one that I've released yet.

So I would recommend getting out a notebook and writing down some notes during this one because

John gives a lot of really, really good advice on this one for hunting, you know, publicly in white tails from the mountains in Pennsylvania and southern Ohio to the farm country,

public land in Iowa, Illinois, and everywhere else that he's hunted.

So highly recommend, listen to this one, taking notes, and I think you can learn a lot from it.

So with that being said, I kind of want to give an update here.

I ended up getting out hunting again here in Pennsylvania.

Late season, archery and flintlock muzzleloader is in.

And I hadn't hunted hunted it opened the day after

christmas but i haven't got to go out hunting yet and i wanted to test out some new gear and

just kind of get back in the tree stand again so here on january 5th i got out for an evening hunt and I went into a spot I hunted in the

rut actually that I knew the doze were bedded really close to me. I was seeing them in the middle
