Hey, everyone. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and start to some of the rifle seasons,

gun seasons here in Pennsylvania and throughout the east.

I wanted to give a little bit of an update here on how the first week of a rifle season went here in Pennsylvania.

So it's been quite a few years since I've carried a rifle for myself.

And, you know, it didn't fill a bow tag at all on either Pennsylvania or Ohio.

And I was kind of going into this rifle season on a little bit of a low, kind of bummed out about

not filling a tag.

And so I got to sit down with a good friend of mine, Jason Mears, who will be on this

podcast, and Jason is such a great guy and a really, really good white-tail hunter and photographer that I look up to in the outdoor space.

So Jason and I sat down around the fire the night before hunting season opened up here as far as gun season in Pennsylvania.

And at that point, you know, we were both kind of having slow years and

trying to figure out you know where to go next and kind of our outlook on gun season so with that

being said the first day of gun season was really eventful for me.

I'm going to go into a little bit more detail.

I plan on talking about it here in this intro, but ended up kind of going through the

story on the podcast that will be releasing next week with Nick Berger, Allie, DeAndrea,

and Marta Dozy.

So I recorded that podcast and ended up going to detail.

But I had a little bit of a tree stand incident that was really scary and then ended up getting an opportunity at a target buck that I had and didn't pull through with it.
