And I'm going to be going over some key concepts and theories that I've seen basically

illustrated in real time.

These are things that I observe in history when I look back, but I've been observing a

lot lately, and I'm

talking particularly since the COVID madness began back in March of 2020. So whatever that

ends up being, what is that, 21 months, I think, if I'm not mistaken, that we've lived in some

very interesting times where in terms of historical events and insanity and craziness,

it seems like things are amped up and what's the saying, something like there are decades

where nothing happens and there are whatever it is, months, years, whatever, where decades happen.

But first, just a little bit with what's going on with me and how I'm doing and all that.

So I'm almost at the end of the current semester, which is fall 2021.

Basically, I just have a couple more days worth of frantically grading stuff and entering my grades.

And I have a department meeting on Zoom.

I have to deal with tomorrow and a handful of other kind of bureaucratic things I've got to take care of before I leave for Christmas break, but I'm

almost done. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and that is a good thing.

It's been a difficult year for me. Here I'm talking about the calendar year of 2021,

as I'm sure it's probably been for most, if not all of you, for a variety of reasons.

Now, there's some good stuff going on, too, but nonetheless, you know, when I look back on it,

this was a very trying year for me, to be sure.

And my mental health has probably been, on average, at the lowest state it's been in a while.
