Is culture good? Is culture bad? Should we allow culture to shape our children or should our children

be raised to shape the culture? Some people don't even think that culture is redeemable

when we've gone this far, when we've crossed the line. I disagree. I think this could be our

finest hour in America as the family of faith. If you don't yet have a copy of the book and you'd

I'm in chapter two and we're going to be talking about what to do about culture. Do you think

culture is good or culture is bad? We often, especially within the family of faith, talk about

the world and that's synonymous with the culture, this godless world system that the scriptures

talk about. And we don't want the

culture raising our children. We juxtapose the church and the word of God against the big, bad

culture, but I want to challenge that narrative. I think that the scriptures frame culture differently. If you go all the way back to the

very beginning of the story in Genesis chapter one, you find that God is creating the world,

and by the time we get to Adam and Eve in the garden, he's given them a great commission.
