I'm Leanne Kreischer, the machine's wife. I'm the mechanic.

The mechanic, the shore upper. The shore upper of the machine, yes.

Yeah, the maintainer, the feeder, the lever, the louber.

The louber, all of you above. So we are the other half of sober up, sober,

Bob, Bobtober. I can't talk, I'm so tired. So we're the other half, we're the unspoken half

of sober October and we thought it might be a good idea to start a podcast, to see how

the other half survived. To give it a voice. To give it a voice. To give it a voice.

Because dammit, I deserve one. You do, Leanne. If all of the sober October widows, I would

say you do. I do. I fucking do. Yeah. Let's talk about it. You know, I don't know. I do.

Look, I think you and I, we both have road comics for husbands. So we're both comedy widows

in a sense. We'll take care of the kids when the guys are out. It's a lot. But people don't

realize that the sober October month really reeks having on our home life because they're

gone already a lot. Yeah. And now they're gone with their home. They're here, but now they're

out doing hot yoga for three hours or hiking to keep their heart rate up for four hours.

Yeah. So convinced they're dying because they're detoxing or like that. Like I am positive

I'm dying or I'm now changing the sheets daily because we're fucking sweating constantly.

So yeah, you got a laundry quadruples for me. And I do, you know, I don't, I do my own

laundry. So I don't have anybody that comes to my house and does my laundry. Yeah. So

I'm washing like literally six towels a day for him. What? Wait a minute. The towels from

the detox sweats sweat. Well, no, the sweat like hot yoga was like a two-towel minimum. Yeah.

And then he has a towel because he doesn't shower. He goes in the pool. What? So yeah, he
