Summary

Is the term ‘pro-life black person’ an oxymoron? A mirage? A thing of the past? In this episode of Just Thinking, Darrell and Virgil discuss the growing black pro-life movement, a concept which, given how infrequently the terms “black” and “pro-life” are used together, would have many believe it is a contradiction in terms. Additionally, D and V take some time to pay their respects to the late Dr. R.C. Sproul, founder of Ligonier Ministries, who passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017, who had an immense spiritual impact on both their lives.

0:51.9

of coming up, really taking some time to reflect on just what the year brought man and that whole

0:57.5

thing. How about for you? Man, can you believe here we are and I know billions of people around the

1:05.1

world are probably saying this exact same thing. We say this every year towards the end of the

1:09.6

year, man, but it really is amazing, man. We're talking about the end of the year already, man,

1:15.8

just a few days left in the year. Yeah, yeah. We're going to have to roll into a new year, man.

1:21.2

It's amazing, man. I really am trying to, you know, like I was telling you before we got on the

1:26.3

air, man, just trying to take it easy, trying to dial it back and really reflect on the goodness of

1:32.2

God, man. In fact, bro, I was driving just just minutes ago, man. I ran to the store to get

1:39.2

something real quick and I was just reflecting on something that I know, but something that

1:45.5

just kind of catches you off guard. I started thinking, man, I'm driving to the store. I just left

1:52.0

the house, left the family, everybody grabbing something from the store real quick. And I said to

1:56.8

myself, man, I've got three children. I've got three children. And again, it's not, and I mean,

2:04.8

I know I've had, I've got three children. I've got an 18 year old, you know, 15 year old,

2:09.6

in a 13 year old. But man, it just, it's one of those things where I'm driving, I'm thinking just

2:14.8

a ton of reflection, I'm reflecting on the goodness of God, man, that I would, that I would be blessed
