| 1:34.2 | outdoor activities at this point in my life. My greatest passion is to be out in the alpine and |
| 1:41.6 | to do mountaineering technical climbing in high places. |
| 1:45.5 | It's something that I have dreamt about and wasn't able to pursue for a number of years. |
| 1:51.7 | After graduating from college with a chemical engineering degree, I spent a lot of my time |
| 1:56.9 | raising two wonderful children and being married to a wife now for almost 30 years. |

| 2:29.5 | Yeah, probably the first time I did a lot of Colorado 14,000 foot mountains, and there was a couple |
| 2:37.6 | that the previous year had an opportunity to climb Kilimanjaro and was able to summit, |
| 2:43.7 | and so they kind of got a passion for maybe doing some seven summits or a tailored version of |
| 2:50.0 | the seven summits. |
| 2:51.1 | And so they asked if I would join them in climbing Mount Elbrus in Russia. |
| 2:57.9 | And it's the highest point in Europe. |
