It's been an interesting week for Apple, hasn't it?

Unfortunately, everyone mad at Apple as usual.

Except it wasn't even a product release this time.

It was actually a press release.

For those who don't know, maybe if you weren't on social media for a while,

Apple came forward and announced that they actually do,

for the sake of the longevity of their products,

slow down the CPUs in some older iPhones so that

they don't kill the battery, I believe it's put. Have you read up more on this? I've read up on a lot,

but I'm curious if you know some things I may not. No, that sounds about right to me.

That's about it. Yeah, I mean, the confusing thing is it makes so much sense to me. That's about it. Yeah.

I don't understand why this is a controversial topic, and yet it is. Yet it's become this kind of giant debate now, where it's the people versus Apple about

how this is planned obsolescencecence or they're intending for you

to buy new products by slowing down the old phones. And it's like, I've made several tweets about

how I feel like it's just they want the phone to last longer. That's why they made changes. If they

didn't want the phone to last longer, they wouldn't have changed anything.

Because the problem was the batteries were dying early, and I heard that power was cutting out on them in actually permanently damaging parts of the phone itself, and then they wouldn't turn back on.
