Yeah, well, like you've mentioned, I started out on a bicycle and I did a few cycling trips back in 2003

through Israel. And I think that's where the whole travel slash adventure bug bit me. When I got

back home from Israel, I did a cycling trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town, like you mentioned,

and then around South Africa.

And mainly the idea was, or the big dream, was to be the first woman to circumnavigate

the African continent on a bicycle. So all these previous trips were in preparation for this, you know, big epic trip that I was planning.
