I want to start this off by thanking the men and women that served this country and provided

us with the freedoms we exercise daily.

As we reflect on this memorial weekend that just ended, I just want to shout out anyone

that served and ultimately the ones that gave the ultimate sacrifice to allow us the

freedom to do things that we take for granted every day.

Freedoms that are not free, that obviously are paid for with blood and lives, that we

often take for granted.

This pack's weekend was not about taking a day off work and ignoring the reason we were

offered and afforded the freedom to have a day off of work and grill out with our family.

It was about honoring the men and women that gave the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our

freedom.

And I just want to thank you.

I personally made it a point to talk to my kids about what memorial day means, what freedom

means, the sacrifice our men and women make to protect us in our country.

I didn't want them to eat a bratwurst and some mac and cheese and continue on their lives

without understanding what the day meant and how thankful we should be.

So we wanted to start this show off saying thank you every day I want to be an American

worth protecting by showing gratitude for what it is you all do to give us the ability

to enjoy the freedoms you fight to protect.
