I'm Virgil Walker and man I'm excited to the night my man Dara was in the building and

we're gonna get started with our podcast man just thinking and they're only excited to be your

wingman on this on this venture man just hanging out with you. First of all I want to thank you

for man allowing me to come alongside something that you kind of got started a while back

and something that's been on your heart and something that you've been doing in the blogosphere

and we're just taking it to that next level through what what Brother Duane has allowed us to have

access to through the bar network so man tell everybody a little bit about your thought process and

kind of get us up to speed on your venture man. All right, Virgil we'll do that man good to have

my wingman here with me the night and I appreciate you man so let's talk about that for a second and

I've had quite a few people ask me about the blog just thinking and kind of alluded to

this podcast is an extension of the blog if you're not familiar with the blog the address is just

thinking.me that's just thinking.me and I kind of chose that name let me go start at the present

a near term and then go back work my way backwards. I chose that name because this

I've found anyway that there's somewhat of a perception if not a stereotype that black people

aren't allowed to think for themselves you know there's there various I don't know components

maybe pockets of the current sociopolitical even theological milieu in America whereby

you know tribalism kind of rains you know the whole monolithic

stereotype that all black people think vote act alike so I wanted to you know I just had a personal

conviction to try to debunk that stereotype and just try to deconstruct that notion out there so
