Summary

David Allen did not set out to become a productivity guru, but with the release of his book, Getting Things Done, in 2001, he became just that. You may well be familiar with his methodology – in fact we hope you are, and that it has improved your life dramatically! After hearing a bit of his “super hero origin story,” today we’ll talk to David about some additional tips and insights specifically for entrepreneurs. 0:33.2	David Allen is somebody who as you'll shortly discover is a productivity coach and
0:38.8	guru somebody who wrote a wonderful book called Getting Things Done, a book that's
0:43.0	that's certainly improved my life.
0:44.0	By the way, I never really like to say changed my life.
0:47.0	I don't like the whole change like because really when you think about it
0:50.0	everything that happens at any moment is changing your life.
0:53.8	So whenever people say that changed my life,
0:56.2	that kind of rings hollow for me.
0:57.5	I like to say, and this isn't always true of things that change our lives,
1:00.8	it improved my life. And certainly getting things done has done that
1:04.7	immeasurably for me personally and so I'm excited to share David with you in
1:09.2	case that feels relevant to you in case that might be helpful to you here as we hit the busiest
1:14.7	time of every year, at least for me, the busiest next six weeks of every year.
