| 0:25.6 | All right, friends. As you know, on Monday, we talk business. I talk to entrepreneurs who want to learn about all the things I'm still trying to learn about. |

| 0:41.2 | I hear business owners, especially new business owners say, I don't want to have to be on social media. |
| 0:46.8 | I don't want to have to post on Instagram or TikTok or Facebook or whatever social media you think you need to be on. |
| 0:53.4 | And I'll say, okay, why? And I want to be clear, the reason I ask why not or why isn't because I think that you have to be or even that you should be. |
| 1:02.4 | I think you should do whatever you want in your business. And I think there are many, many ways to grow a business. |
| 1:07.4 | I don't think that you have to be because everybody else is. I don't think that you ever should, quote unquote, do anything. |
| 1:13.0 | I think if you want to, I can help you get your head around it. |
| 1:16.8 | But a reason I ask why not is because I genuinely want to know what is your reason why you don't want to be on social media. |
| 1:25.8 | We want to understand your reason, okay? And it is very common for people to say things like, well, it seems fake to me. |
| 1:34.4 | I just don't agree with overall what it's doing. I think it's harmful for kids. I think it's people just, you know, putting their best face forward. |
| 1:43.6 | Or it's intimidating. I don't understand it. I don't want to figure out how to use it. It's bad. It's evil. It's hurting people. |
| 1:51.6 | All kinds of things like that. I hear, okay? |
| 1:54.6 | So I just want to share with you my thoughts about social media and you can take them or leave them. |
| 1:59.6 | But I like to view social media as the town square. And actually I should tell you where I got this thought from. |
| 2:06.6 | I got this thought from a missionary, like a young elder, you know, 1920-year-old kid out serving a mission for our church. |
