My entitled mother makes my life and my sister's life a living nightmare.

Treating us like garbage, while also leaving for two weeks at a time without any kind of extra food or

electricity to get us by. And now, despite the fact that I feel our relationship is completely destroyed,

she is now demanding that I forgive her outright, as she believes that she deserves forgiveness

no matter what, despite the fact that I know that she has not changed.

And now I'm wondering if I'm the jerk or not, for still being mad at my mother and the way that she

treated me.

Here's what happened.

So two years ago, my mother started dating a man despite expressing our reluctance to meet him because she was a serial dater and we did not want to get attached they forced the situation making my sisters and me very uncomfortable.

Shortly after, he began staying over regularly, and my mom's personality changed significantly

after meeting him.

And this guy would also make disgusting comments about my mother in front of us, and she would just laugh.

Well, about a year ago, they came home after a date, and I, busy with a timed online university assignment, just shouted out hello from my desk.

20 minutes later with not a word to me or my sister, I heard the outdoor gate slam and

them leaving just as I finished my assignment.

I went out to check what was happening,

but they were already gone.

Ten minutes after they left, my sister and I received a horrible voice message

where my mother accused us of being disrespectful and ungrateful and how we do not want her to be happy.

She also accused us of not greeting either of them when they came inside, but we both absolutely

did.

She left for a week and a half, leaving us with four days worth of food in the freezer
