My entitled, spiteful fiancé, tries to make it look like her best friend husband is cheating,

all as some kind of weird complicated revenge scheme for something that was honestly so minimal.

And now I'm considering breaking up with her after seeing this level of craziness over something

so minimal and I seriously don't know what to do. So a little over a year ago,

my fiancé attended a hiring event for an office job with one of her friends from high school

and she said it would be fun to work together. I also have an office job but it's in a different

company. They both received the job and seemingly enjoyed working together and they would often

go out afterwards if their shifts lined up. A few weeks ago, Sarah applied for a vacancy as a

supervisor. Sarah is my fiancé and Sarah is not her real name, but unfortunately she did not

receive it as someone else got it. She said that to her friend Jane, also not her real name,

who shared in her disappointment and they've been friends longer than we've known each other

going all the way back to high school. And that fact in and of itself is honestly why I was so

surprised by Sarah's behavior. Sometime after the vacancy had passed, Jane told Sarah that she

was accepted for a government job she applied for over a year ago. But when Sarah asked why she

didn't tell her, she said she applied for it around the same time that Sarah applied for the

office job among many others. And also that the government openings are sometimes posted for a

year and take a lot longer just to get back to you. And Jane didn't think that she would get it,

but it offered yearly growth in terms of pay grade steps. And she encouraged Sarah to attend an

upcoming direct hiring event. But Sarah was not happy about this because she vented to me about it

and had some very choice words to say. When I asked why she felt this way, she said that she was

heard that Jane didn't tell her about this and didn't say that she applied despite calling it
