An entitled couple make me cry at the restaurant I was working at, as they screamed and shouted

at me, all because their food wasn't ready on the busiest day of the year for us. But thankfully,

my manager had my back as he came back at these people harder than I've ever seen anybody

get put in their place in my life, because the way they acted was so unacceptable. And I'm just

so glad that I have a manager who has my back.

Here's what happened. Okay, so this all went down on Mother's Day. It's the busiest day of the year for my

restaurant and many others. It is so busy that we will have numerous parties, as well as countless

floor tables. We are all assigned parties at the beginning of the shift and then

expected to take the walk in the parties. And the entire morning there was a line to the door.

Now, because this was Mother's Day, that line lasted literally all day long. I was in the weeds

the entire shift and it's a long shift for us. I mean, we will be there for at least 12 hours.

I finish a three top with a $3 tip,

a six top with a $5 tip, and then I finish a group of nine that give me a great tip. Well,

in comes a group of six people, so I take them. Then I have to take a group of eight people

behind them, and then 11 besides the eight. Now, this fine and dandy except the kitchen is really backed up.

They had been behind since square one and we have a lot of newbies working today.

Well, I burst into tears because my six top was really passive aggressive and really wanted to get their food.

But it had taken nearly 45 minutes for basic entrees. Now I'm not not angry with the cooks, because they're cooking a lot of food all day long.

But it is absolutely stressful regardless.

I finally get them their food, and the guy at the table murmurs about a third refill.

The dude spilled his drink earlier, and his eyelids were barely open.

He can't even speak above a mumble. Well, I guess prior to this,
