My entitled Karen Aunt desperately tries to offend me by saying awful things to me about my life.

But instead of reacting in the way she wanted me to react, I decided to give her the cold

shoulder and say nothing, resulting in my aunt going into a fit of rage in a way that I've

honestly never seen before in my life.

Here's what happened.

Okay, so my aunt is the stereotypical American Karen. At the last family

dinner, I showed up with my baby, and my aunt pointed out that I'll be sitting in a random

corner chair next to the garage door and the garbage can, but the baby can stay in the living room.

But I decide to show no reaction and just say, okay, after I make sure my baby is all good in the

living room and that

he's being watched, I grab a plate and I take my seat. My aunt then asked me if I know why I'm

sitting there and how I'm going to handle the holiday season sitting there. But I just shrug and say,

well, I guess I'll just suffer in silence. And I tell her that it's her house so she gets to decide what kind of hostess she wants to be. And then I just

start talking to my uncle. Well, my aunt gets upset and starts yelling at me. She said to me,

You had a baby out of wedlock and you refused to get married. That is an absolutely disgusting

way to live. You and your boy toy have been shacking up and doing all kinds of substances for over

a decade. And now you've brought a baby into the world.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

If I was you, I'd be too embarrassed to keep living this way, especially since he's never here.

I would be extremely disgusted with myself if I knew someone thought of me the way I think

of you right now.
