In our last episode, we discussed M. Knight-Sharmulon's idiosyncratic superhero thriller Unbreakable.

Now, Shamelan has reunited with Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson for

Glass, the conclusion of his East Rail 177 trilogy. Wait, a trilogy, you ask? I thought this was

Shyamalan's first film with Willis and Jackson together since the year 2000. Oh, no, no, my friend,

here's the deal. Shamelon made a hit movie a couple of years ago called Split about a guy named Kevin

Wendell Crum, aka The Horde, played by James McAvoy, who suffers from a dissociative identity

disorder and has 23 separate identities.

On top of that, some of those identities affect a physiological change within him,

making him powerful and dangerous in addition to being emotionally unstable.

And on top of all that, Kevin has a hidden 24th identity called The Beast,

that's basically like an evil hulked-out zoo animal.

At the end of Split, we get a shot of Bruce Willis

as David Dunn, aka the overseer, which brings him and by extension Samuel L. Jackson's

Elijah, aka Mr. Glass, into the same cinematic universe. Glass brings all of them together

in an asylum. It opens with David trying to free four cheerleaders
