Giving thanks to God on a regular basis is good for us for many reasons.

First, Thessalonians 5 and 18.

In everything, do what?

Give thanks.

For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. That's why we do praise and

worship because we want to give thanks unto God. We want to make music. Our wonderful musicians,

they want to offer their music up as a sacrificial praise unto God. We want to open our mouths

and offer our voice up to God. And we want to give thanks. This not only pleases God, but this does some things for us.

One reason is that it glorifies God for who he is and how powerful he is.

That's what praise does for God.

But another reason to always give thanks to God is because it reminds us of what he has done.

And sometimes we need a reminder, especially when you get under some bondage
