Relatives have positively identified the bodies found in Baja California as the two Australians and a San Diego man who disappeared last weekend, Mexican officials said Sunday. Since the victims' relatives identified them, genetic testing is not needed to confirm their identities, according to the State Attorney General's Office of Baja California. The corpses were decomposing after the thieves dumped them into a remote well about 50 feet (15 meters) deep, some 4 miles (6 kilometers) from where the foreigners were killed. The well also contained a fourth cadaver that had been there much longer. The cause of death for the three bodies recovered in Baja California on Friday was ruled a shooting, the medical examiner's office in Ensenada said on Sunday. 0:22.7	Folks, we have an interesting story today, but nonetheless a very sad story that sort of
0:28.8	points the finger at, well, Ensenada, Mexico, an area where many surfers go.
0:37.3	However, how safe is it in Mexico? The gentleman on the
0:42.4	screen, you see, they were missing as recently as a couple days ago until authorities figured out
0:53.4	that something nefarious happened.
0:55.9	There was a robbery gun bed and they were able to recover the bodies of these surfers.
1:01.3	And their brothers, Callum Robinson, a professional lacrosse player from Perth, Australia.
1:07.2	His brother, Jake Robinson, and their friend, Jack Carter Road. Jack is a U.S. citizen from San Diego.
1:15.4	Just horrific. Deves were gentlemen in the prime of their lives, went to Mexico on a surfing,
1:23.8	you know, just to have a good time surfing, and apparently it's not a very safe place.
1:31.2	There's San Diego you could see on the map, and they traveled to Ensenada, Mexico, where apparently they were the victims of a robbery gun bed that actually cost them their life. And we'll get
1:46.9	more into that later on. But I think that when you see a case like this, you question, how safe are we
1:57.2	as Americans going into Mexico? It's probably a stupid question. Here I am sitting in New York
2:03.8	right now. I would say you're probably not very safe at all between the corruption of their
2:09.7	government, the corruption of their police, the cartels just running that damn country. How safe
2:17.1	is anyone to go there?
2:19.9	And I know people from San Diego, California, go into Mexico all the time, and they think
2:26.6	nothing of it.
2:27.6	But now with this, three young men in the prime of their lives, they're both three of them
2:33.9	in their 30s. They're up three of them in their 30s.
