Shane Bieber goes to the IL with a shoulder injury.

Perhaps that offers up some explanation for why he hasn't quite been the Shane Bieber we

were expecting coming into the season.

You know, how was your weekend?

It was good.

We spent it poolside in Sonoma at a friend's house.

And the kids really enjoyed it.

We got to see extended family that we hadn't seen in like two years.

So ones with, you know, babies on the way.

My uncle that got COVID and was in the hospital for a couple months, for a couple weeks.

First time I saw him since that happened.

Just people we kind of stayed away from for so long for because of COVID.

We all were in the same room, eating and drinking and having fun.

So it was really great to see everybody.
