1:35.4	Everything I've seen so far is pretty solid.
1:38.9	There's a couple of areas where I take issue with Hoffman,
1:41.6	particularly where it's related to the character of
1:44.6	Augustine if you look at Plotinus and Needs the Philly Oakway that Augustine
1:50.4	pioneered and which was subsequently dogmatized by the Council Toledo with
1:56.4	papal approval which you can also find a dissection of in my essay that I just wrote
2:02.3	about Aryan arguments being used by filioquists so it's actually an inverse it
2:11.0	does not at all achieve the purpose for which the filioque was intended but we're gonna not really delve
2:19.6	into Augustine and all that right now because the main point of this is to do a
2:25.9	bit of a review of the first half of Hoffman's book and then my maybe my own
2:31.9	thoughts on it but as I said you, over the last 10, 15 years, this is a topic that's been very central to me.
