0:23.0	travelers in this world, and God has many wonderful truths to teach us along the way. For the next
0:29.2	few moments, we turn our attention to the Word of God, the only roadmap for this journey. You'll find

0:40.4	Join us now as we study the scriptures together. It is our prayer that you will enjoy the journey. The Lord Jesus Christ spoke a great deal about the subject of joy to his disciples.
1:04.6	I believe with all of my heart that Christ designed life for his followers to be a joyful life there are so many people who are
1:12.9	enduring life I want to suggest to you that Christ has designed it so that those
1:18.3	who follow closely to him share in his joy he's designed life to be enjoyed
1:23.8	not endured as a matter of fact when you read and study in the New Testament about the
1:28.8	fruit of the spirit, the things, the grace that the Spirit of God produces in us, there are nine
1:34.8	characteristics. The first is love, but the second is joy. Oh, my friend, when you come to know
1:41.4	Jesus Christ, when the Holy Spirit lives inside of you, the natural,
1:46.4	or should I say supernatural, things that are produced include his joy. Many years ago,
1:54.2	I heard a Christian man say, I know I'm going to enjoy the destination, but I want to enjoy the journey.
2:00.2	You know, friend, our destination's heaven I
2:02.6	know that heaven is going to be joyful but our loving father has designed it so that
2:07.6	our journey even through this world even through a world filled with heartache and
2:11.6	sadness and disappointment can be made with joy I travel every week of my life. And one of the things you learn about
2:20.0	travel is just to expect some frustration and some things not to go your way. Along the journey,
2:26.7	there will be delays and detours and disappointments. But for the Christian, along the journey,
