Today's episode, a preview of England's second group game against Denmark. I'm

Ali Maxwell. George Alex's with me. Hi. Hello. Anything to add post-Serbia reaction pod,

which was recorded around 11pm on Sunday night and went out around 1.30 a.m. Has anything else

sprung to mind since then? Not really. It feels to me trying to keep my finger

on the pulse of the mood of the English nation. Maybe it was a classic case of reactionary takes

at kind of 10.30pm on a Sunday night after ending the major tournament came where people

have had a few drinks, kind of subsided a little bit. And it felt like yesterday that the majority of people

were kind of shrugging their shoulders and just saying it was okay. I also think the way the

games went yesterday with Romania, obviously providing a massive upset against Ukraine,

and then watching Belgium have a ridiculous defeat against Slovakia

and then even France kind of muddling their way through.

Anyone who kind of thinks that group stage football is easy off the back of,

you know, we mentioned it in the pod, the Germany and the Spain performances.
