0:29.7	Now, the reason we wanted to get Connor on is we're going to talk about a topic that I am hugely interested in.

0:39.8	youth development, in the youth players at their club, and in the pathways that they have into
0:44.7	the first team. I think it's a fascinating topic, youth development, talented youngsters, and of course
0:50.0	focusing today on the EFL and its role within that. We're so lucky in England to have a league
0:55.6	system that we do and that outside of the top tier, there's so much talent to the extent that
1:01.0	the second, third and fourth tiers of English football have a genuine impact and importance
1:05.0	when it comes to the national team, which I think is something quite unique, but Connor's going
1:09.2	to tell us more about it.
1:15.7	He's an expert on all things youth football across England and beyond, I should say.
1:20.4	So this podcast really just mining Connor for information more than anything.
1:24.3	I want to discuss the link between the Football League and the England team,
1:28.4	current EFL talent in the England youth teams and then try and get an idea of the varied and abundant young talent in the championship league one and league two. Finally, we will also
1:33.9	talk some wider issues, FIFA's new loan rules and what impact they might have on the English game.
