I'm joined by our England correspondent, Jack Pittbrook and the Athletics Carl Anker as well as Ollie Kay as well. Right, then it's finally here, the squad announcement day. I mean, a few months ago we thought there was going to be 23 players. It was then going to be 26 and then we found out in the last 24 hours it's actually going to be 33 and then it's going to get whittled down to 26. |

| 1:07.7 | Well, the main takeaway really was Southgate explaining why he had chosen to pick 33 players rather than 26. I think there's two main reasons. The first is that 12 of the players are going to be involved in European finals this week. Obviously, Europa League final with Man United players on Wednesday and then Saturday City versus Chelsea in the Champions League final. |
