night. After the second semi-final of the rugby World Cup 2023, England 15,

South Africa 16, Matt Dawson is here, Bobby Skinstads here, Paul Grayson is on the

way on the daily. But to the victor, the spoils and in pod terms that means the

first word to you Bobby. South Africa back in the World Cup final. Cheapest, literally

I mean you know what a match to be a part of, to commentate on, to work on with

you guys. But I take absolutely zero joy beyond the fact that the guys have slipped

through. I mean it was that tense for that long that I'm emotionally exhausted. I just

think it was an amazing match. We watch a number of close matches. This was a different

one. You know for 60 minutes, a person who doesn't know their rugby might have watched that

and said, oh it's a bit boring, it's a kick-first, but it was an arm wrestle. Every single second

of that match was an arm wrestle. And England started with the, I don't know, the tactic,

the strategy, the over the top, I'm not sure what it is. And South Africa all they did was

hang on, literally fingernail stuff. And they were lucky enough to squeak home at the end.

So much to talk about, Matt. But the game in general, it was a non-event on Friday night.

That was a World Cup semi-final, wasn't it? Just a bit, just a bit. And definitely one of

those games I think that you would prefer to listen to on radio than watch. The tension,

I'm sure, came across just by, you know, the energy and enthusiasm and to the players could walk

no more. The conditions were terrible. South Africa all over the place. England dominant,

for, you know, we're getting, and certainly I was getting very excited that England were in

complete control of it. I'm slightly shell shocked still that there was a nine-point lead there,
