All right, Alexander, let's talk about what is going on with Project Ukraine, and let's focus

0:05.5

in on the diplomacy in and around Project Ukraine.

0:09.2

And let's start things off with the Trump administration lifting sanctions against Hungary,

0:16.3

against the Pax II nuclear facility, the civilian nuclear facility that Hungary was about

0:26.5

to build with Russia, and then Biden on his way out decided to block that project. And Trump has now

0:36.5

lifted those sanctions on the Ps too. And this is a big deal.

1:45.4

lower drawer of his desk in the Oval Office somewhere underneath a whole bunch of other

1:53.3

papers because anyone that would implement these Lindsay Graham sanctions would have to be

1:58.0

absolutely crazy because it would harm the United States more than any other country out there.

2:01.6

So your thoughts on these sanctions that are being implemented or being lifted.

2:07.6

Indeed. There's been an article apparently in The Washington Post, which makes exactly the point that you've just made.

2:13.6

Do the people who author this sanctions bill to really understand what its effect would be

2:21.3

if it was ever passed and implemented in the way that they say they want?
