John you know we talked about Tesla back on March 7th and you know a lot of

things we talked about today the story is still playing out so we talked about

looks like with price cuts demand had been slowing down at their store closure strategy

that at the time we question it since has been backed off.

We're seeing where they're going to manufacture the model Y, talking about the production guidance.

SEC case has been resolved.

We got Tesla's Autonomy Day,

which gave us some more guidance on autonomy.

And we asked whether Tesla would raise cash.

And that's where I want to start off today.

Because just this morning today Tesla dropped a

prospectus to raise up to 2.3 billion dollars in cash via a sale of

convertible bonds and a secondary offering of stocks.

So the breakdown of that, they're suggesting they're going to raise $640 million in net proceeds

from selling 2.7 million shares with Musk buying 10 million dollars of those and then an additional
