I just stepped off the plane from San Francisco

where we closed out our last shindig of the year,

GTM Storage Summit.

And I'll tell you, we've been doing this conference for only three years,

but it feels like an eternity.

In fact, the last 12 months felt like an eternity.

Partly it's because every week in the news cycle these days feels like a year itself, but partly it's because there's so much more activity in the energy storage space to keep up with.

This year brought record-breaking battery projects, acquisitions,

seemingly every other week, and over a dozen utility plans to integrate storage.
