I've always hated this quote because it pushes the idea that nothing in the world is predictable or preventable, or that governments cannot stop external forces or take steps to counter them. Let's be clear, the invasion of the Ukraine by Russia, or actually by Vladimir Putin, was entirely predictable. And if not preventable, |
