Summary
This week, we’re discussing Texas Pacific Land Trust and St. Joe, two of the biggest landowners in Texas and Florida, respectively. Both of these businesses have a history tracing back to famous asset bubbles from over 100 years ago. Today, TPL provides an interesting opportunity to invest in U.S. oil and gas production in the Permian Basin. Meanwhile. St. Joe allows shareholders to invest in the growing de-urbanization trend by offering exposure to coastal property under development on the Florida panhandle.
