manufacturing, perhaps more commonly known as 3D printing.

My guess this week is Arjun Agarwal, Chief Product Officer of Desktop Medal.

Desktop Metal is the most recent entry to the public markets in the additive manufacturing industry

coming public via a SPAC transaction late last year.

Great to have you here, excited to talk about desktop metal, the stuff that you're doing in the industry.

But first, just kind of set the stage for our listeners.

Folks have probably heard 3D printing, know what the word means, but probably aren't

super familiar with the process.

So for someone who's total amateur, maybe explain what 3D printing is and really what entails making something via this process.

Yeah, it's actually a much broader kind of phrase or industry that I think people give it credit for.

I'll try to break it down at a really high level. The idea is to basically take a 3D object

and to

create the object layer by layer so that at the end of this process
