Hey everyone, a quick announcement from AGDHQ.

As you probably noticed, if you're listening to this, it's been quite some time now that I've been away from the microphone.

And that's because a lot of things have happened in my life since the last episode.

I lost both my parents and also had a new child.

So it's been an emotional roller coaster to say the least.

But that's not what I'm here to tell you about today.

What I want to share with you is some exciting news,

namely a new AGD tour in Greece is in

the works. See, over the past several months, I've gotten a lot of emails from people saying,

hey, what's happening to the podcast? Some people even Googled me and saw that my parents had

passed and sent their condolences, which was very touching. And others wrote to me saying, hey, when is the next

tour? And I've actually been thinking for a while about what the next tour would be, because I always

want to make these trips unique and different from what you'd get from a tourist agency.

So I called up my archaeologist friend Aristotle in Greece, who has been my fellow guide on the

previous tours, and I said, Aristotle, I have an idea for a really unique tour in Greece.

Do you have any availability in the fall?

Because this guy gets booked like six months in advance.

And he said, I've only got one eight-day stretch still open in October.

What's your idea? And I said,

Enemies of Athens. And I explained a bit of what I envisioned with that. And he was like,

I am sold. Pitch the idea to your listeners, and let's try to make this happen. So this is the pitch,
