There's been a lot of talk about ending the filibuster because HR1 is coming down the

road.

The four of the people act, the thing that would render illegal much of what Georgia just

passed through their legislature, for example.

It would establish national standards for elections, which Article 1 Section 4 of the

Constitution allows for, in fact, just to make that point, let me pull out my handy pocket

constitution here, Article 1 Section 4, the times, places, and manner of holding elections

for senators and representatives, shall be prescribed in each state by the legislature

thereof, but the Congress may at any time by law make or alter such regulations.

So people are going, ah, it's not federal takeover of our elections.

Now we've had federal standards for elections for a long, long time, it's in the Constitution.

But anyhow, that's where all those focuses being put about, you know, saving the saving

the world by ending the filibuster.

But frankly, I think that there's a bigger issue, and that is that 90% of all the food

on the planet, the planet, what's called the terrestrial net primary production, the planet's

ability to produce food, has been consumed or degraded or destroyed by humans, that as

a consequence, we're eliminating nature.

If you add up the weight of all the animals, what you find is that, you know, we represent

about 90% of that total weight, which is pretty mind-boggling when you think about it.
