We do this at the end of every year. It's a big celebration of another year come and gone at the Common Descent podcast. Before we get into it, just a reminder of how grateful we are to all of our

listeners, our supporters on Patreon, our supporters

who aren't on Patreon, who are just listening, giving us those download numbers, sharing

the podcast with your friends, and submitting questions, leaving comments, chatting in the

Discord, all these different forms of engagement and support, we really appreciate,

and we look forward to another year of it when we get to the next end of the year, Q&A.

Yeah, it's always so much fun to do these, and so nice to just get to really revel in the amazing

audience and support that we have from you all. So thank you, thank you for another

year and another gigantic list of questions. We hope that you all have a happy new year and a good

holiday season, whatever holidays it is that you're celebrating. And we hope that you'll join us at

the end of January to celebrate the nine-year anniversary of common descent.

But that's enough rambling because there's so much rambling to do.

We have randomized the list, and we're going to get to as many as we can before we both are exhausted and have to stop or one of us has to leave

the country. So settle in. We got a lot of questions to answer. The first question comes from

Petra who asks, what cool animal have you seen recently? That's a fun question. I haven't seen too many like note worthy animals lately.
