And Lakers lose in five to the Denver Nuggets in the first round.

Game five, the game changed significantly when Anthony Davis got a stinger

in his shoulder, and he was still battled through a lot of it, but wasn't an offensive threat

much anymore. And then that to me was the shot-making game of the series. Lakers missed nine

free throws. It was a game where Denver shot very well from three. Lakers did not.

And capped off by the second Jamal Murray game winner of the series.

Mike, it was a very competitive game and competitive series for a five gamer, right?

It's very similar to what we were saying about a, oh, it was a competitive sweep.

We got one more game. We at least got a win in this one. But set the scene for us, if you would, please, both during the game and then in the aftermath of it, what was it like being there on the ground? Well, this one felt more cruel than last year, just in terms of, yes, all of the games were close last year, but the Legers weren't getting beaten at the buzzer after leading for not all of the game, but much of the game in this one.
