Second Thessalonians, chapter 3, verses 1 to 5. Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the

Lord may spread swiftly or rapidly, and it be honored just as it was with you. And pray that we may be delivered from the wicked and evil men,

for not everyone has faith.

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

We have confidence.

Where is that confidence?

We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command.

May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance.

For those of you who followed the series, we saw how the Apostle Paul peers through the lens of faith,

how he peers supernaturally into the end times, into the end of history.

And as he foresees and foretells how Christ is going to be revealed on that last day

when history falls, as he peers into the future, as he foresees and foretells, how the Holy

Spirit of God's hand of restraining power begin to withdraw from the world

as he peers into the future and foresees and foretells of the unleashing of that spirit of lawlessness

around the world literally as he foresees and foretells how the Antichrist is finally going to

unmask himself, how he is going to reveal himself after a period of deception. After telling us

all of that, he now goes on to tell us, how should we who are living between the two
