Hello video and welcome to the Redmond TV and my reaction to Liverpool drew Wong Wong with Brentford but more importantly than that that season is over.

2026-27 campaign is no more confined to the annals of history and thank God.

Yeah, good ridden to that campaign in many ways.

It was not an enjoyable one for large portions of it.

Let's have it right.

But it is done and, you know, I guess given where we were at times and given how the mood's been at times,

I guess we can sort of dust ourselves down from it,

knowing that championship football is secured.

We're a fifth place finish,

and that's about as much as we can take from it

if we're being really, really brutally honest.

And the game today was a carbon copy of many of the games we've seen this season,

certainly at Amfields.

So yeah, lots and lots and lots of work to do and lots to unpick behind the scenes when it comes

to how that doesn't happen again really because it's been dreadful at times it really, really

has. Lots of mitigating circumstances and factors,

I'm sure they'll take into account when doing their end of season post-year review.

But ultimately, what it all boils down to, the verdict can't be anything other than

not good enough, must do better.

Two lads who don't need to do better anymore because their time at Liverpool,

the curtain has come down on Liverpool eras.

And what an era it's been, they've been absolutely enough and joint and magnificent.
